The 29 hectares of Vieux Château des Combes are planted around the Benedictine abbey which dates from the 17th century. Owned by the Helfrich family, Vieux Château des Combes is a modern and elegant Saint-Emilion Grand Cru that highlights the fruit and finesse of Merlot. The aging in barrels lasts about 16 months and the wood is perfectly dosed to let the wine express its own characteristics.

Characterized by a beautiful purple color, this Vieux Château des Combes 2018 opens with intense notes of red fruits, spices and fine woody notes. The palate is supple, perfectly balanced.
