Product Description
Absolute is produced in the town of Åhus in Sweden from locally-grown winter wheat. First introduced to the US in 1979, its iconic apothecary bottle is recognizable around the world. Absolute was first introduced in 1879 as Absolute Rent Brännvin (absolutely pure vodka) by Lars Olsson Smith. It is he who adorns the silver medallion on each bottle.
Tasting Notes
Putting your nose to the glass you get a gentle, sweet wheat aroma. It is very gentle in the mouth with a softness to the vodka. The mild wheat notes continue on the taste with just the tiniest of bites on the finish. Warming as you finish the drink. Classic and definitely one to add to the list if you prefer more neutral vodkas.
